We are about 5 days from splash down in Rodney Bay Marina in St Lucia. At this point we start route planning for the final decent. Do we go direct, go South or go North. Well the weather Gods have a different plan for us, they decided to park a great big dead zone between our current position and St Lucia.

That is about a 400 mile wide hole and there is no going around it. It develops on Tuesday 10th and persists for several days. All but the fastest racing boats will run into it All we can do is make as much progress as we can until we run into it. We will continue to watch the forecast and look for the best possible way through.
Meanwhile back on the boat, today really was an uneventful day. A few squalls through the night, but nothing that bothered us. Crew are all well, enjoying sunshine, good sailing and good food.
