After returning to Canada for Christmas and new years we are back on the boat in Martinique. We plan to stay here until we get all of the work done on the boat as Neo Marine here in Martinique are exceptional in the service they provide.
The long list of repairs/updates that need to be done are as follows:
Replace the bearing seal on both rudders (warranty)
Replace the black water tank through holes and valves, the brass ones were corroding and were replaced with plastic ones (warranty)
Replace the rooftop solar panels (warranty)
Fix the connection of the autopilot ram to the rudder quadrant (warranty)
Fix a couple of gelcoat voids (warranty)
Fix the Salon Freezer (warranty)
Replace the TV (warranty)
Fix SuperB batery monitor (warranty)
Install a shim in the sheet lead blocks in the roof to reduce chaffing (warranty)
Replace the mainsail traveler and stop
Fix the chafe on the spinnaker halyard
Fix the transmit AIS intermittent failure
Bottom clean
Anti-foul bottom paint
Polish and paint folding propellers
Service saildrives
Paint Saildrives
Replace zinks
Fix Anchor light
Fix ripped parasail
Fix black water tank - ultrasonic gauge
Repaint the chain "5m marks"
There is also the Nautitech event that is organized for 7th - 9th February and so we would like to attend that and meet some of the other cruisers. So we wanted to stay around for that too.
So we settled in for a longer stay, set our clocks to island time and relaxed.
